From what I am hearing, the anti-Sumlin group is moving forward. They believe they have to. I don't know if they have a coach lined up or even candidates. I am only repeating what I am hearing. What you say makes sense but again, I am repeating what I am hearing and it is coming from multiple mouths. This has really coalesced in about a month but as it came together, much more came to light than the original reason they were pissed off.

especially with the DC hire they just pulled... Dave Aranda, big improvement over Steele. Aranda's one of the best in college football.

Anti-Sumlin group is looking at candidates. Two things would really help A&M. One, if people, like yourself, with sources would quit running to the internet to post. Sometimes privacy is needed to conduct certain operations. The second thing we need is a few of our BMAs to check their egos at the door, which is easier said than done as these are very successful people/families. They are the 1% of the 1%. Both sides of the Sumlin debate need to focus on what is best for A&M and quit threatening to burn the place down if they don't get what they want.

Wish everyone would focus on what we need to do to win a national championship and not concern themselves with their "buddy" and what access they have to the program or stroking their ego because "their guy" is HC. This isn't about any one of us! It's about our school and ALL OF US who have gone over 75 years since we won the title.

It's starts with getting the right head coach. No point in setting our program back 4 years because we are in a rush to replace Sumlin. Whoever our coach is in 2016 we need to give him 100% of our support!

This is a big problem. Guaranteeing Sumlin his entire contract is at the root of our problems. He changed when that happened, culminating in the meltdown we saw over the last part of this season. The problem is those behind that contract do not want to take any responsibility for it. Again, we saw this fran.

Sumlin is not what is best for A&M. If I heard that Sumlin was pleading his case to the BMAs, I might be more supportive. The thing is he is looking at the NFL and otherwise being indifferent. He simply doesn't care. I think you know this too.

The problem is keeping Sumlin may do this. Especially if we have to compete with tu, lsu, and auburn for coaches next year. Auburn is really quick to jump the gun on coaches, and they won a national title and played for one in the last five years.

I think it is going to be hard for a lot of Ags to support a coach they believe checked out on the school. Sorry but the only reason Sumlin is here is to collect his huge paycheck at this point. He hasn't been giving 100% to A&M.
