Do people really care about this 15 years after it happened?

The only concern I would have about Applewhite is that, if he was good here, he would be a 1 and done OC. He is already being contacted by FCS schools for HC gigs.

I feel like the Ags need an OC that will provide stability for more than 12 months.

He made some bad decisions in his life. He didn't do well at Alabama or Texas. I bet you Tome Herman is running the show there thus the reason Houston looks good.

Heard on the radio this morning Applewhite is the favorite to land Texas St HC spot. I think he'll be a good HC; he has a good feel for the game. (By the way, if we're going to be eliminating guys who've made mistakes in their marriage or otherwise in their personal lives, we're going to have a REALLY small pool of candidates)
