We don't have athletes like grant. Sumlin is caught not knowing Wtf he's doing. He doesn't know what kind of offense he wants to be, but to run a true air raid you need the shifty zone busters like trey Williams, Ryan Swope, labhart and more. They don't have to be 5 star beasts because they can't do what the little guys can.

This entire game so far for tech and grant is a lesson on what could have been with a guy like trey Williams in the offense this year

Agree Williams would've been great, but we don't have softly athletes like Grant? What would you call the SEC offensive freshman of the year? How about Weedy Noil?


Kirk is a beast, but he and Noil aren't that shifty small back like grant. Both are bigger. Kirk is closer to Grant but not nearly as shift/jukey. That is what is hurting lsu right now, not massive talent or athleticism

3 of our 4 losses to LSU have been by 12 points or less. 2 of the losses were by 6 points or less. The 12 point loss was a one score game with less than three minutes left.

tech isn't playing them any closer than we typically do. They just have a competent offense.

brown was a great politician and salesman. He sold tu like no coach since dkkkr. He kept the boosters happy and could sell recruits on the we're texas BS. It worked for most of his career. He competed in a much more competitive environment than dkkkr did. I'd love to have someone give us brown's success at tu here.
