Not anymore... I'm done. The program is too much of a mess. Until he wins a conference championship, I now couldn't care less if he's shown the door.

Sumlin is more than a joke.
I'm pro Sumlin. I think he is still the right guy going forward. I don't know what all is going on to have our 2 starting QBs transfer, but I think he can fix it.
Defense sucked, fixed it.

Fire Sumlin now, and we are in store for Fran 2.0. No self respecting coach would come here if they are afraid of getting fired for something like this.
Never did. Still don't. He hasn't won anything anywhere and has sever attitude problems for what should be the face of a multi-billion dollar enterprise.

Sherman left the program in better shape than he found it. The same will not be said of Sumlin.

I was firmly on board but this has me leaning the other way. His main strength is PR for the program and selling it to recruits. The past few days have done serious, maybe irreparable harm, to his ability to sell Aggie football. He's paid too much to mismanage players and coaches.
I think he gets 2016 to seriously contend or he's out (deservedly so). Gonna be hard to contend without a good QB.

He's not 4-0 in bowls yet. Needs to beat a decent Louisville team with a JUCO QB in order to get there.

Still Sumlin...Sherman and Fran were too recent to forget true mediocrity
If he has an offensive plan and coordinator in place. And if he has a quarterback ready to come in. I don't think kyler Murray was ever the answer here. So at this point there's not enough information to go on.
Urban Meyer is able to keep several talented QBs to stay and buy in at OSU, but somehow it's not a reflection on Sumlin that he loses BOTH starting QBs in a week?

The only thing I tend to speculate about is his leadership with his coaches. I.E., to let Spav continue to call hideous game plans and get the results with no appearant change is not being a leader IMO.
Other than that, I think he's been a great coach, recruiter, etc. He needs to get a Chavis type OC hire. Then we'll all be happy again.
