Police have said the sex was consensual.

But according to Louisiana law, it's a misdemeanor "when a person who is seventeen years of age or older has sexual intercourse, with consent, with a person who is thirteen years of age or older but less than seventeen years of age when the difference between the age of the victim and age of the offender is greater than two years, but less than four years."

What kind of bubble did you guys grow up in? 14 is 9th grade- I would say the majority of girls are engaging in sex at some point in 9th grade. While it is unusual for a senior to engage in sex with a 9th grader, it is not unheard of. This should be a misdemeanor and there should be some punishment involved but it is a far cry from rape or an adult engaging in sex with a child.

Majority of gilrs are not engaging in sex in 9th grade.
Not a majority but plenty are, did, and will.

In the 1980's we had two of our best players on our middle school team get suspended for double teaming a girl in the Janitor's Closet.

I've known plenty of kids who where born before their mothers 16th birthday. It happens plenty.

Even though it's a misdemeanor I doubt it would be worth the black eye or head ache. Especially for a RB who would likely be underutilized in this offense.

Most people are 14 when the start thier Freshman year.

9th: 14-15
10th: 15-16
11th: 16-17
12th: 17-18

Read the article dude. It says this was in Louisiana. At 14 she was most likely in 4th grade. That's just disgusting.

Maybe not a majority, but a lot. And a freshman having sex with a senior isn't at all uncommon.
