Ticket exchange is flooded with Ag or scalpers trying to unload cheap.

Serious question...how often do we have to return tickets for away games?

The question is:

Have we all decided whether we are going to stay past the third quarter? It has been pretty empty.

Why wait for them to return 'em? Called Miss St ticket office a week or so ago and bought em. $90 was a bargain considering what some Ags thought they should buy or sell them for.

I'm a State fan/graduate who purchased tickets through our ticket office two years ago. The game and venue was great, but I wasn't too thrilled about paying $90 a ticket to sit in the nosebleed section on benches where we were packed in so tight that we had to sit sideways. It was worth it to me this year to pay more and get chair backs in the lower level of the north endzone. I wouldn't be surprised if quite a few other State fans did the same thing. I'm local, but why travel all this way just to sit in crappy seats when there are plenty of good seats available on the resale market?

I'll be there with bells on...(no cowbell unfortunately)...didn't buy tickets through the MSU ticket office...going to be a great game. Hail State! Beat A&M!

Watching their team lose in person obviously isn't appealing to them.

Dak will be in attendance. You should be more concerned about that.

Yeah me personally I'm way more concerned with tacking Dak and keeping Holloway under 8 yards per carry. BTHO State

Who is talking ****? The upper deck/nosebleed seats are terrible in every SEC stadium. I was just offering a plausible explanation as to why at least some of our ticket allotment might have been returned. I think Starkvegas sometimes talks trash on these boards, but his post in this thread was very respectful.

I lived in College Station for almost three years and loved it. It was very hard to leave when the time came. I've been looking forward to this game for two years and think it's going to be great no matter which team wins!

Friend of a cousin of a friend (or something) works for the state ticket office and so we got 4 visitor tickets in 130.

My point was simply to state that another couple rows of State fans ain't going to make a dent in the home field advantage that A&M will have in this game...we're the visiting team, we're the underdog, the Ags have home field advantage in a shiny new stadium...we're going to have to bring our sack lunch...but I'm very grateful we have Dak leading us on...can't wait to see the new stadium...should be a great game.

This thread is an embarrassing representation of our fan base.

Fire sale on Ticket exchange and as low as $20 on Flash seats. Night game, fall weather, top 25 opponent, what a disappointment.

I agree this is disappointing personally not surprised
I guess everyone who was predicting all SEC games would be a tough ticket

Somehow Miss State is still able to bring thousands more fans to College Station than Baylor ever did.

& the opponent is ranked
plenty of seats are available
which wasn't supposed to happen

Here is the issue. Our visiting ticket allotment is set for the big SEC teams who travel well (Alabama, Auburn, LSU, Florida, Tennessee, Georgia ). The other teams are going to pose issues, just because of the # of tickets being held for the schools with large fan bases. That's what you are seeing this weekend. Miss State does not have a huge fan base relative to other SEC schools & the distance is a decent clip. Given that information, they are still travelling better than most of the Big 12 schools used to do. In fact, if we had a Big 12 visitor team allotment size - Miss State would have sold it out.

Lots of tickets all over stadium. Some I guess are people with change of plans, others I wonder are from those who bought more season tickets than they needed and planned to sell all along or had family or friends not coming to games.
Makes me wonder if buying single game tickets is way to go since we got banished to 3rd deck as result of process. Will those folks getting less than face value let some of their tickets go next year? I am already thinking next years Prairie View tickets will be a gift for someone.

Next year or 2017 is going to be interesting; as I'm positive there are many people who overbought tickets. That is going to put the squeeze on people who buy season tickets with the intention of selling a few games and making some of their money back.

The second issue is we have a ton of ticket holders sitting in the EZs. On top of those seats being less than ideal, the customer service issues (like concessions) are going to create problems when people consider re-upping year to year.
