In positive Kyle Field pump up music news, Pantera came on during a timeout at Kyle Field during the Nevada game so I was able to check that off of my bucket list.

We needed to start playing more music....Now only if I could actually hear it.
Kyle Field has had an increasing NFL style presentation ever since the large jumbotron was installed in old Kyle. During the Nevada game advertisements were still being blasted out of the speakers while the band was trying to play.

I was not a bq so this is an outsider point of view but the band has never consistently played during transitions or breaks. They will once or twice a quarter but not consistently. I would love to have them play more during short breaks but I haven't seen that in 20 years so not holding my breath.
