First year with season tickets and saw these scattered around (the gray ones that were tied down to the bench).

Does anybody have experience with these? Any recommendations for/against?

TIA

They are very helpful both in comfort and in marking your territory. You can pick one up at each game or pre-season order them.

I agree with every comment so far. They are definitely worth it.

Worth it for this. I've had seats on the asile and had to sit/stand in the aisle.

Better yet if someone was sitting on them or their sausage smelling fat was overlapping you could be like, "hey, this is the space I payed for! Move it!".

If you have long legs, you might not like it. The seats force you to sit forward and your knees may intrude on the people in front of you. Not comfortable for me.

I have bench seats and didn't have the seatbacks for the first game. I don't think I'll ever go without them as long as we're on benches.

I love the cushions.
for all the reasons listed above.

in the new Kyle you actually lose some seating area. It pushes you forward a few inches

Didn't get the cushion seats initially, but now I'm re-thinking it. I called and they do not pro-rate the charge. I know they have game day seat rentals that go for $8 ea, which at this point will actually be cheaper. Question is though....are the game day rental seats of the same quality? Any inputs are welcome.

Where do you find them for individual games?

Worth everyone penny because you can claim your territory. Didn't have them last year and hated it.

They are in the middle by the concessions. $8 each. Just leave them when the game is over.

This. Less of an issue now, with the wider rows though.

They aren't super comfortable, as the backs are near vertical.

You can find the "day-of" rentals scattered around the stadium. We rented from one on the concourse just outside of 402. And they are the same seats (different color) as the season-long rentals.

I'm 6'2" and haven't noticed any problems.

Yes, similar quality plus I read someone post they are better than the permanents because more room with them not being bolted down in place.

They are well worth the $8 for a game if you haven't tried them.

maybe you don't have long legs,

In the "old Kyle" my neighbor had second deck 50 yard line seats that he would give to me on occasion. They also had these cushions. I'm 6'4" and had to sit at an angle to sit in these seats. The next time we went I gave my seats to an older couple on our row, so I could sit comfortably without the seat back on the bench.

With the rebuild, there is more leg room on West side now.

Nice to have for sold out games. Holds your spot when you get up.

Pro-

Saves ur butt

Saves your seat when you go get food etc

Con-

Makes you sit VERY straight up

Reduces leg room, so if you're over 6 foot its dicey

They get wet if it rains before the game

I think the comforts outweigh the discomforts.

Better without them than with them.

Not ideal for tall people, but are better now that the rows are wider (they are two or three inches less deep than the bench, so your knees would end up in the back of the person in front of you.

By tall I'd say anyone around/over 6'2

I echo the comments about tall people. At 6'2" I could not use the cushion backs in the Zone. Sit in one of the permanent ones in your section before the owner gets there and see if you like it, then go rent them if you do.

I moved to the upper deck of West side because the row spacing was supposed to be 4" - 6" better. After game one I'd have to put a tape measure to both rows to see the difference. Marginal at best. And the benches are mounted different, with a 4" - 6" concrete "back" above the bench making it impossible to scoot back at all. This concrete back did offer lower back support, but it did force my knees all the way to the row in front of me, just like I was in the Zone again. plus not being able to scooch back and forth throughout the game made my butt pretty sore. Oh well, 1st world problems. I think I'll try just a flat cushion for the Nevada game to see if it helps.
