I wish A&M all the luck in next week's game, but it is kind of funny to read your posts.
Before last week's win over Colorado, all of the Baylor posts were not too positive, just hoping to finish the season without too many injuries. Then after the win over Colorado, everyone became optimistic. Maybe we can win a few more games and become bowl eligible; why not? A&M just got creamed by Tech. Obviously these hopes were unrealistic. Baylor isn't that good of a team yet.
Now I look at the A&M posts and I see the same thing. Also, it was pretty obvious by the poor attendance at the A&M game that people were doubting A&M's chances this year. (Side note here: don't you guys brag about selling out ever single game? Isn't your motto "Come early and leave late?" Everyone always makes fun of the poor attendance at Baylor's Floyd Casey Stadium, it is kind of funny to see even when a team like A&M has three losses they have low attendance also. I don't mean to be rude, just an observation; it is no worse than what you guys do every single time you come up to Waco.)Now that you have creamed Baylor, a lot of people's posts are very optimistic. I think these posts have a right to be optimistic. A&M is a good team, and so far this year they have been playing under their ability. But lets get realistic here, you are about to go into Nebraska's home, after they just had an embarassing lost. It isn't going to be pretty. You aren't playing Baylor this week. Just something to think about.
And if you guys are down by 35 points in the 3rd quarter, and showing no chance of coming back, I'm sure Nebraska will take out their starters. They have enough class not to run up the score *cough* But if beating Baylor by 63 points gets you guys pumped up, then go ahead. But just remember bad teams can become good, and we never forget. There was a time when A&M could beat UT, but that time has passed.
