Everybody left the Aggie Websider, or whatever it was called. I think it became Rivals. I don't know if A&M still has a board over there. They used to have a guy named Sandhop. His job was to argue with the sips who posted there.

Aaah! I was a lurker back then. All of the flightaware threads, the "new contract is on his desk", "he signed", "no he didn't sign yet" threads.

And then a post about 10:00 PM one night from a poster living near Easterwood: "Just heard a private plane take off. My wife said 'There he goes,' and I said 'Yes.'" It had a sad finality about it.
