I bet he even wears white framed sun glasses.

My impressions after reading Kyle Cook's facebook note on here: It seems to me someone with so much love of God would have known not to take offensive pictures at a memorial for deceased students. Or would have had the cajones to speak up against it when it was happening.
He talks about wanting to have served the school by being a yell leader. I call BS on this. He wanted to be a yell leader to serve himself. Selfish to have even run after embarrassing the school and infuriating former students over his actions at Bonfire Memorial. A real Aggie would understand this.
Dude really likes to hear himself talk and obviously considers his own opinions very important.
Do young men really talk and write things like this in today's world? Glad I went to school when men were men.
Lastly, dude is a major ****

Not surprised he was picked for 5 for yell. My Junior year they picked a guy who was put on probation for hazing in PMC the year prior. It's all about the good old boy network.

Yea, I was always ashamed at how the Corps selects its yell leader candidates. It's basically a couple weeks of partying every night (so anyone who actually studies is automatically out) and whoever shows up and passes the Good Ol Boy popularity test gets selected. Every now and then they get one right (David Benac my senior yr comes to mind) but more often than not it's just some Good Ol Boy idiot who's trying to get laid. My junior year they picked someone who had a DUI or some other alcohol arrest on his record. It came out in the Batt and they had to replace him last second. Ridiculous.

Certified results for Senior Yell after recount, rendered moot by separate Yell election say winners would be Cook, Lawrence, Ritchie.

In other words, Kyle Cook won election in 1st vote but was passed by Steven Lanz in the revote. Lanz finished 4th in 1st vote after recount.

quote:Yep you sure are. You also must not have been able to distinguish between a good candidate with a good history and a good drinking buddy. That's the problem with the process.
So I guess I'm part of the good ol' boy system since I was one of the guys that chose the candidates that year. Thanks for the compliment!

Truly some of the most ignorant things I've ever read are on here. I'd say you were some of the most ignorant people I've ever met, but I'd only be basing that on one or two comments you've made and that's the problem with what you've done with one person. You characterize a person by one picture or one FB post and make HUGE assertions. Middle school ended a long time ago.
Get to know someone or ask some people you truly respect who know the person before making such ignorant comments.
I don't care about this, but that's not a middle school characteristic, that's how the real world operates. As in post college. Life can be a ***** and a lot of decisions are made based on first impressions. Nobody cares enough to get to know what kind of person your friend is.

I've got a question about a more serious topic that this board seems to like: men's fashion. Why does 5 for yell choose the particular look below for its unofficial election-day uniform?

Wth is going on in those pics? Are they waiting like beauty queens to hear the election results? Praying to the yell leader god?
Good Lord, they look like self-important dbs...

Yup. Having witnessed the election results at Sully recently, it's embarrassing for Aggies. This quasi religious behaviour for a student popularity contest is pathetic.
