You can't help people who aren't ready to help themselves (See Darren Lewis) but someone needs to reach out to Mike Mosely.

We have boosters paying tens and hundreds of thousands of dollars for seats each year to watch the game, they should be able to help him find a job. Live on $319 a month? I don't even know what to say about that.

Your first paragraph is spot on. I am too young to even remember Mike Mosely, but something about that story screams that he was not very willing to help himself. I don't know what type of leg injury prevents a guy from getting some type of job. The story makes me feel like he sort of feels sorry for himself and wishes things would magically get better for him like they were in the good old days. It's hard to feel sorry for someone if they're not willing to put in effort to help themselves. Again, I don't know that is the case, and I could be dead wrong, but it just sounds like he doesn't want to help himself.
this...9k/mo for 6-years and 'medical bills'...and can't find work? You're telling me between 1984 and 2004 he could not scrape together enough money, or insurance from a job, to get his leg fixed correctly?

Mosely was fast...really fast...and a great all-around athlete who could easily two-hand dunk a basketball. But in the 40 and 100, Reggie was faster. Neither one of em should have wasted their years in d-1 at qb, but that was their choice. David Beale was a better qb than MM.

I never saw Mike run 100 yds. Having one leg an inch shorter than the other never helped him. He would trip on the turf sometimes when running. He had a very strong arm, but grew up with the option.
A QB needs to be the hardest working guy on the team. A true leader. Beale was a better all around QB, but when Kube showed up-- he was the best.
We had some amazing skill people in the late 70's and early 80's, but were short on lineman.

I hadn't seen Reggie's tape in a long time and looking back at it I'm not that impressed anymore. After watching Manziel run circles around Alabama and the rest of the SEC it's not impressive to see Reggie get caught from behind by Utah and Baylor players.

But, you take each of these guys on their best team in a close game, who do you want?

Johnny. No doubt.

Of course! Op was not talking best football player, but fastest QB... JM is GOAT!

I agree. Reggie should have stuck to track. Johnny doesn't even belong in this conversation. He has football quickness and speed. Johnny carried the whole team on his back for 2 years so that slowed him down a little.

No, he didn't. It's a team sport.

Sorry Cecil . absolutely a team game. I'm new here and just love Johnny. Not going to argue with an Aggie graduate. Have a great day.

Speedy Noil is the fastest QB ever at A&M...and if you are puzzled by that then you would have been shocked had Allen gone down in the Auburn game and may be surprised what the depth chart looks like if Murray plays pro baseball and we cant get a transfer in over the summer. He won't be second and may not even be listed...but trust me, he's there.
Chad Schroeder clocked 4.21 redshirt year
Yeah, but that was a 20, not a 40.

Reggie would have been our 2nd Heisman winner had he played in this air raid offense.
