One of the many reasons I cut the cord.

Got Amazon Prime, Netflix and now Sling TV which has ESPN and SEC network (and soon adding AMC). Toss in the free over-the-air networks and I have basically everything I watched previously for like $35/month.

If you can do without the DVR or are willing to use your computer as your DVR for the localcs, Sling is the way to go.

Hulu is essentially a DVR for many stations as they have current episodes up a day or so later.

How does this work? Sling from someone else for ESPN / SEC?

I get the complaint about only being able to watch one stream at a time on Sling, but the only time I want to watch more than one thing is during football season, and it looks like I can just log into WatchESPN on another device for that.

I love Texags. I had not heard that Watch ESPN live was good for Directv subscribers.

Watching Sportscenter while plugging away at the computer now.

Thanks for posting this guys! Gig'em!

Not rolling in the $99 Prime membership into the cost?

I think many see the Prime membership as my wife and I do...a bonus since we would have it either way due to how often we buy from Amazon.

Thats $99 a year, which will only be $8.25 per month, $8 for netflix, $25 for Sling With ESPN = $41.50, so not far off. If you already have Prime for shipping or other benefits, his cost would be $33.
