We should be so lucky to have this actually all be on Sumlin. But, logic dictates there are other factors at play here than just the public perception of what Sumlin has done.

Not gonna happen, but just think for a second the magnitude of the explosion if they walked up on stage in front of LHN cameras and said Gig'em.

Sumlin did come up huge this year. However, that doesn't make the post any less true. Sumlin slow played Boyd really bad. He was begging to commit a year ago. He also has a super stud brother.

Maybe Boyd commits to tu today and flips on signing day. Maybe he commits to A&M today and flips to tu. Maybe he commits to tu and signs with tu. No matter what happens, Sumlin slow played the kid. He could have been in the fold long ago.

If Sheffield flips to the Ags, then we can care less about losing out on Boyd.

I never thought we stood a real shot with Hill anyway, but Boyd was one I really wanted.

Just stating that doesn't take away from all the great Summy has done with hires and recruiting. It's just a fact, that in this case, he slow played Boyd, and it may cost getting his signature on NSD.
