I know it's been discussed ad nauseam, but it doesn't make sense for Kyler to flip. I wrote about it here on Monday and walked through the timeline of these past couple of weeks, the relationships in play, as well as the legacy factor. I highly doubt he would leave Christian Kirk hanging out to dry and the legacy factor is too big to ignore. Everything points to him being at A&M unless something super shady is going on in Austin.

Like I've been saying the past few days, he's not going anywhere. And the more time goes on, the more certain it seems he's staying. Plus there's still a good chance he never plays a down of football anywhere, as he's going to be a 1st or 2nd round pick in the MLB draft. Everyone chill. Completely agree on the time being in our favor part. If he was going to decommit, logic says that he would do so sooner rather than later to allow KS and staff to recoup. But I agree and think MLB is a serious threat especially with his move to 2B.

Good starting point. I believe it's important due to how well Kevin is revered at the university and alumni base. Bad blood if he encourages/orchestrates Kyler's last minute flip to Texas.

Here's the thing OP.

Your first EVER post you feel like you had something that was thread worthy so you started your very own thread instead of just jumping in on another one and giving your two cents.

That article has been posted and discussed before on this board. The topic that you wanted to discuss already has half a dozen threads on the first page alone. No offense, but that kind of thinking is what bugs people around here. Rooks starting threads like this.

What we definitely needed, another "I think Kyler does ____" thread.

OP, I was buying into your argument and my confidence was growing while reading your post up until this point, at which point my BAS kicked in.

The one factor that Longhorns have in their favor is they can promise Kyler he would start right away, who else do they have? We can't and shouldn't. Best player plays.

How big a factor that plays we will find out next week.

Think MLB is still a bigger threat.
