There was a good April 1 post somewhere about LSU's "plans" to put in a purple field turf with accompanying artist's renderings. Pretty funny.

Teal is better than blue. It's lighter and closer to green. I can't watch Boise St play at home. It makes for terrible television. It's hard to see the players when they're wearing blue too. Wasn't it the MWC that wouldn't let them wear blue jerseys at home?

I want maroon yard line numbers back. The rest can stay green please.

I think Oregon's would actually be made of Phil Knight's money.

Ok, maybe the end zones

Use grass that grows maroon. Problem solved.
Should be easy to make the grass we use for turf grow maroon

I feel like this would somehow validate Dylan Summer Gardner...

Engineered maroon grass with white letters painted on in the end zones would be pretty cool

FBS Schools must have green grass or turf - Boise rule - FCS schools can do what they want

I would be okay with Maroon end zones and TEXAS AGGIES spelled out in white....

I'll be happy with a field that has grass that stays on the field!

Wanting "Texas Aggies" in the end zones ain't gonna happen. I'd like it too but those days are in the rearview mirror.
