I know these might just all be rumors...When Manziel was here, rumor was Sumlin and Manziels dad had beef. Now fast forward, same thing is being said in regards to Kyler. Another rumor was that Sumlin refused to provide info to Maliks parents of the next DC. Then Sumlin fires the pool guy for the tweet.

I conclude that Sumlin is a badass mother****er that doesnt take crap from anyone. He is sends the message to everyone that he runs the program. In Sumlin we trust. Me loves me some KDS!!!!

I agree. This staff lets nothing out but seems pretty effective. If we need to get a new QB, something tells me they are already on it (and have been on it).

And doesn't guarantee starting positions. I'd take Sumlin and Chavis over ANY recruit ANY day of the week.

You're not going to be given a starting job before setting foot on the field. Charlie's ugly ass is a liar and an arrogant ass who is desperate to get a high ranked recruiting class under his belt by lying to recruits. They'll find out soon enough. You can already tell Malik ****ed up. Way to go, Sumlin!

As long as he is head coach, Sumlin runs the show - period. This program is much bigger than a single player.

It is interesting, but not surprising that all this drama has now become about Kevin Murray, not Kyler. Kevin has controlled every step of Kyler's life. Why would things change now? It most likely won't. I really think Kyler would like to play for the Aggies.

I think it may be in A&M's, the entire offensive coaching staff and the team's best interest to let Kyler go to anywhere else. If things don't go as Kevin wants them to for Kyler, Kevin will possibly create a firestorm of controversy that would blow up in the media. I question if Kevin Murray can be the parent that sits quietly in the stands and let the coaches handle the future of his son. Think he would be very difficult to deal with. With our OC being as young as he is, Kevin could likely try to run over him, creating trouble and division in the locker room.

I hate that there are other recruits that have gotten caught up in this and had there decisions clouded.

Sumlin got Chavis when no one said he could.

He got a pac12 OC to become OL coach.

He got VaTech's best recruiter to take the same job here.

I am not saying he is perfect or without fault but I also believe he has the most ceiling of any coach here since Jackie.

Even if the sips win the Kyler sweepstakes they are much more likely to go 5-7 next year than us. We were not even close to it this year.
