I think someone just snuck the one in '98 in. I remember when ESPN College Gameday came there was a big announcement that they would allow banners in but they had to be out by a certain time. Heck, they dont even allow umbrella's.. you think they are going to condone banners?

I still love Brent's Automatica Gramatica and Aggies never quit! Or Ricky run's into the record books. Classic Brent chess dik announcing. We can only hope he gives us some love and chesse for Reggie or Fran, b/c his bull does help give us pub for a national audience.

I don't see how anyone can like any commentator other than Kieth Jackson...I'm sorry...but I can't stand John Madden any more than Brent Mussburger...THEY BOTH SUCK

Unless of course they are tauting the beauty of Aggies and Aggie Football...then they are just ok.

At any rate...when I watch a game on tv...I don't really pay attention to the commentators anyway if I have any intrest in the game what so ever...so this post is really irrellevant when it comes to Aggie football. But if I'm watching someone else play...then yah...these guys suck.

My favorite Brent saying was in 2001 when ou won the NC. It was a game early in the year and ou just scored a touchdown and mushy exclaimed, "OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOklahoma!!!!!!! It's good to have Oklahoma back in the national picture." I thought to myself, you mean you loved all the cheating, gun slinging, and fur coat wearing okies? I still laugh to myself when I see Jamal sporting a full length fur coat. Yes, it truely is/was great to have Oklahoma back.
