You missed the point. You can very well hurt yourself by consistently focusing on any single area regardless of where it is.

Yeah, because a guy that has a few years as a position coach is more qualified than a guy that has SEC, NFL and other college DC experience.

Gibbs isnt the sexy hire that everybody wants, I get that. But simply because he is currently at UH does not mean he should be off the list either.

Well, at least not to a logical person who can think anyway.

PS - I hope we land one of the bigger fish as much as everybody else. But I would gladly take Gibbs over somebody with exactly zero coordinator experience.

And by what definition are we "focusing" on UH?

All speculation has been everywhere from Florida to Virginia to Baton Rouge. The only focusing on UH has been by this board.

I'm just waiting for this innovative hire that we were supposed to hear about last week.
