Watch as Sumlin pulls a rabbit out of his hat and get someone like Bud Foster.

Only now Malik and Mack cannot comes back.

Sumlin made it clear a couple years back that if you look around somewhere else don't bother coming back.

So to all your desperate fans who want the recruits to switch back:

They gone!

I really doubt if Mack wanted to come back Sumlin would tell him no

Ridiculous post. Kyler took at look at the okies so I guess he's gone too.

Actually Sumlin didn't say that. He basically said if your not committed to us then we will start looking around too. It didn't say anything about we wouldn't consider taking said player back. I think Sumlin would need to see that the player really wants to come back before extending the offer again though.

That's kind of like Mack Brown, isn't it? Forbidding verbals from visiting anyone else??

Just for the record, Sumlin doesn't forbid verbals from visiting anywhere else...

Take your sad face on a few official visits and feel better.

+1

And no, I don't believe he ever said he expressly forbids verbals from looking around. He seems quite well aware that it comes down to a business decision for all involved. Analogy: if your company's supplier does business with you exclusively but starts looking around for other buyers, it behooves you to explore alternatives in the offchance that your supplier stops supplying you. Alliteration.

Thanks for clearing this up!

His philosophy is that if your scarred to play against the best (SEC) then "get a dog".

Some players would rather take the easy route and go to the Big 12 or a lesser league. We don't want those type of players anyways, we want players that enjoy the challenge.

Mack would have an easier road back than Malik...not too sure if McNeal thinks he can compete at WR here, and Malik seems as if he cannot make a decision on his own.

His name just stimulates some sort of reflex action in you doesn't it? You just can't help but make a negative comment.

At least Malik didn't openly say he was with us for months only to turn on us the minute something didn't go his way. I'd rather have Malik than Mack

To achieve success, one must project an image of success?

Can't make a decision on his own? Because TexAgs told you his parents were pushing him Texas the whole way, and that's what made him pick them? Not the whole "we have no DC right now, but just trust me it'll be someone you like" angle we had to play with him?

Nah, must have been all the other people in his life making the decision for him. Definitely don't want if kid can't make up his own mind for himself...but let's take back the kid that decommitted via twitter without calling Sumlin, after some other guys were getting a bunch of attention- he's got the character we are REALLY looking for.

And we should do the same. Smart move that worked.

Listen troll, that has never been Sumlin's philosophy. His philosophy is if you're gonna look around, so are we.

sips get one commit of note, and the Damm trolls come out of the woodwork.

Sumlin's recruiting philosophy:

You can never have too many WRs.

Never mind.

AS far as KS saying NOPE..That only applies after he is jilted on signing day...Braylin Addison begged to come back from Oregon...we would not take him back, unlike Tre Carson, who never jilted Sumlin...all is fair until the ink is dry...if they repent, we will take them...just have to get the DC on board...the kid is not really stupid, wants to be developed into a man and getting away from his momma will help as she has a crush on Charlie. Hopefully Malik will grow a spine and stand up to her when we name a DC...he wants to respect her and nothing wrong with that but we have to show him the DC for him to be able to win the argument, as tu DC tries to exit for Colorado State or anywhere as he knows the twos and threes with a couple of fives wont even win the dumpster fire conference...he is a smart man(the DC)...hope we can say the same about Malik in january

So he commits to a school whose DC has interviewed for a HC job and may not be there?
