I want nothing more than to watch Malik and Daylon flop.

If Sumlin hasn't gotten a yes yet from his guy then what can he tell him? If Malik was truly interested he could have waited a few days to find out who the new DC is tomake a more informed decision. He is an early enrollee but verbalizing his commitment yesterday was an unnecessary self imposed deadline.
quote:What Vito said. NOTHING WAS OFFICIAL! Had he given Malik a name or two and it hadn't happened then Malik would have come back and said he was lied to.
Yes hawg---the kid wanted to know something that his possible-to-be coach didn't provide. We arent disagreeing on anything. Unless you are saying you know WHY sumlin didn't provide it. At this point nobody knows WHY sumlin didn't provide any info.

"Malik is very emotionally invested in things," Mike Jefferson said. "When he feels betrayed in any type of way, you're setting yourself up for failure. I think A&M not contacting him about the defensive coordinator had a major influence."

quote:Then why commit now? Just put the decision off until you can make an informed decision. How about that?quote:
Why in the hell do people think kids are so entitled to know all of the business. Blows my mind.
Why in he hell do people not think a kid would have to know who his DC is going to be (not to mention what the rest staff will look like) before he could bet the next 4-5 years and potentially millions of dollars on that decision? You morans can't see the forest for the trees.

quote:I used to think he knew what he was doing, but he suffered some pretty bad lows this season. Now I'm not sure if he does, especially on the defensive side of the ball.
Still support him 100%. I'm embarrassed by the whiny babies that seem to have taken over this board. Sumlin knows what he's doing and he will get the best DC who is really available.
