No kidding. So many wimps around here. Defense sucked so he outright says they sucked? OMG he's got no class!
Difference is, leaders hold you accountable in house. A real leader says "I didn't prepare them and the defense performed bad" and then busts the DCs ass behind closed doors.

To blame his staff after he spends all day running Prescott into the line for no game is awesome. Same reason they lost to bama.

Ok, finally saw the video, and what he said is fine. He placed equal blame on himself for the offense floundering... best part is when he said he wouldn't be able to sleep for 365 days until they come to play at their house again; that's what a good rivalry is about
Saban said his/our defense. Mullen blamed his d coaching staff and threw them under the bus. He should take 10000% responsibility or at minimum say terrible by me and the D staff.
