Considering that this is November 2014, that's 19 months at about 36,840.10 per month. There are far more terrible contracts out there.

He made $700,000.00 this year to field the 103rd ranked defense. Take into account his total compensation for the past 3 years and you're looking at $1,700,000.00. I'm not sure of his buyout, but say we pay him what's remaining on his contract, and that is $1,400,000.00...I'd gladly take that on my way out the door.

Also, we're not celebrating him being out of a job, we're celebrating a much needed change for the program we all love. He wasn't getting it done and Sumlin did what needed to be done rather quickly.

does it matter who the defensive co is if the offense cannot stay on the field and move the ball...6 first downs in 3 quarters, east/west passes, 3-and-outs, 40 minutes for a defense is a tough deal for any DC.
