The tragedy here this year is the utter failure of Kenny Hill. The offense becomes a quagmire and the defense gets hung out to dry when the offense struggles.

I don't know if the pass was ill-advised or not. I do know that we had just as good a chance to catch it as LSU did.

The DT clearly jumped offsides right in front of KA. It should have been a free play. The refs made the mistake, not KA.

I was most pissed off about Sumlin not going ballistic on the officials. Hell there are 90 seconds left in the game. Either make them throw a late flag or kick you out of the stadium. Without that call the game is over anyway so cause a damn scene every once in a while!

No, it's not a mistake. It was a free play because the guy jumped offsides. Maybe you missed that. FYI, when a guy jumps offsides, it's a smart play to throw it downfield to possibly get a big play because worst-case scenario is a five-yard penalty in favor of the offense. Hope that helps.

It was a duck, so that part wasn't great. That's the beauty of a free play, though--the worst possible outcome is five free yards. No sane person can blame Allen for making that throw.
