This forum is mixed on every subject including this. I am saying to grab Headlines. Headlines is all we got because the Team is iffy as a representative. If we counter Headlines, then get another Bowl opponent the tu debate goes on and on. At least get a statement out there.

The game would provide interest in a year where none exists. It would be even up with 2 weak teams. Fair is fair. I hope it happens.

Right now the sips are benefitting from the perception that we're scared. And if we don't get matched up with them it'll be be because we were to scared, so we had the SEC offices pull strings. We need to quit talking like we're trying to avoid playing them, or that we don't want to play them simply because we're too good to play them. Yes and Perroni was parroting what had been discussed on TexAgs before that.

There are many dufuses (dufi?) on this site, but there are also many people who know what the hell they are talking about and can have a good discussion (assuming the thread doesn't get bombed with T&A pics. Not that there is anything wrong with that.)

My point is that there is a reasonable conclusion drawn on what could happen given a set of parameters. Chip Brown goes the extra step to say it actually occurred, with no confirmation.

We have a snowball's chance in Hell in beating tu. Just look at the last game they play with more heart and who on God's Green Earth wants to go to Houston to a Bowl game. I want something out of state .
