I say A&M should agree to play tu in a Bowl Game if they agree to a 10 year home-and-home series in the last half of September.

That way:
- we renew a rivalry that "should be"; it should be our version of FSU/Florida or Georgia/GT or Clemson/USC
- we beef up or pathetic September schedule
- we don't play a one-time do-or-die bowl game, with bragging rights forever, with what is hopefully one of our worst teams
- we don't look like we're ducking tu if they refuse to sign-up.

Without some kind of long term deal, that puts a rematch a year away, this game will never happen since one team will always have more to lose that the other.

I was sad about losing the rivalry, but I'm over it. If we meet them every now and again in a bowl game and get the chance to knock their teeth out, so be it, but we don't need to give them the attention they want/need right now.

Not that it matters to me, but this would be a VERY losable game. It's hard to beat anyone with an SMU defense. Even though the game would be classified as a "pillow fight" between two bad teams, it would be a "bragging right forever" kind of game.

But that's solely because they don't deserve the ratings that come with playing an SEC team. Let's play someone like ND who would get great ratings no matter who they played.
