Isn't that called the "wildcat"?
It was mentioned in the PC...having Speedy as a third or emergency option at QB. So naturally this could lead to a wildcat package for him.

How bout we prep him to be THE QB? He's our best player. He's a leader. I guarantee we still score at least 21 with Speedy at QB yesterday.

Been watching that formation whether it was called the "wild hog" during Nutt's years at Arkansas, or just the more common "wildcat", for ten years in the SEC. And I know it was, uhhm, 'borrowed' even back then.
