If we win out which would mean beating ranked teams Auburn and Lsu...then yes, I would be beyond satisfied. Mostly b/c that would mean we made actual adjustments and improved, something we have not done all year

Definitely. Anyone who expected us to only have 3 losses before the season started was fooling themselves. After the SC game is a different story though

It would top my expectations. I thought that the over/under by Vegas for us prior to the season starting was about right (think it was 7 wins). And that would be a great season for us in what was widely believed to be a transition year anyway. And regardless of what anyone says, I think that South Carolina was a pretty good win. We beat them before they thought they were mediocre. Emotion & momentum are huge in the college game.

Just beat LSU. Perfect poetic justice for a season where we have to endure our first losses to Mss St. AND Ole Miss.

I had posted before the season started that optimistically we'd go 9-3 but 8-4 didn't seem too ridiculous. Who we won and lost to was a lot different in my prediction but There's still hope for this team. From what I've seen from Missouri we should have a pretty good chance of winning that one. After seeing LSU against Ole Miss.....yeah there's no chance.

But 7-5 wouldn't be too bad considering the whole nation thought we'd be down this year with all eyes on 2015

yes, I expected 4-5 losses with a defense that was horrible dependent on freshmen to improve at all, and an offense that was going to be much slower to score.

We beat one of LSU or Auburn, and I'll be thrilled and a little angry that it took the Bama game for Sumlin to wake up from his South Carolina-induced coma.

Don't get me wrong, I'm all for winning out due to adjustments and fixes, but oh the horrors of having to forever live with what should have been. It would be '12 LSU all over again. Dang Bertolet!

I think it would depend on how we win out. If we're winning 51-48 in these games, I'd still be unhappy about the D while being very happy about the mistakes in offensive execution being fixed. If we're winning while holding opponents to less than 28 pts/game, I'd be amazed that our defense has finally learned to be serious. We need all units to improve, with a bit more emphasis on having a better defense.

At this point, I'd be happy with a bowl win extending our post-season win streak to four. I reserve the right to take a small drink of powdered sugar beverage if we beat Auburn, however.
