Texas isn't making a bowl. Look at their remaining schedule. They gave up 45 to iowa state. They suck worse than we do.

the Ags are clearly behind these 5 conference mates in the pecking order: Ole Miss, Bama, Auburn, State, and UGA.

and then probably behind these three as well: LSU, Kentucky, and Missouri.

so A&M (4-3) and South Carolina (4-3) sit as the 9th and 10th or 10th and 9th in the SEC's bowl pecking order.

so that leaves LSU, UK, Mizzou, A&M, SCar, and one other for the "pool of 6" which includes the Texas Bowl. So as long as A&M reaches 6 wins it should get into one of the "pool of 6"

A&M will get more than six wins this year, but they're not beating Auburn. Sadly, that's going to be another bloodshed loss.

The way we have played since Rice, why should we have any reason to believe we will win another conference game? We are sucking on both sides of the ball and it's getting worse each game. Besides ULM we should be underdogs rest of the schedule.

We need to play Thanksgiving night, then roll up until spring training. This team does not deserve a bowl game.

I laugh at the people who truly believe that the extra practices a bowl gives you is some valuable benefit.
They are not.
Yes it's a few extra practices but it's not near as valuable as people think.
Coaches will even admit this.
It's just coaches way of spinning something in a positive manner to keep the fans upbeat.
If they came out and said .. You know this game is meaningless and the practices won't mean much for next year" .. What kind of response would he get.

Lower level bowls and the practices leading up to it are, have always been and will always be meaningless.
