A lot of our guys played well.

How many tackles did Deshazor have last night? I think I read it was a lot.

Deshazor Everett.

Garrett for sure....but Deshazor might be the most valuable as far as a leadership standpoint

Watts was in over his head yesterday.

I'm going with

1. Garrett. Even when he is not sacking the QB, it's hard to measure his impact on the pass defense through his ability to draw double teams and collapsing the pocket before the QB is ready to throw. Hands down our best player.
2. Alonzo Williams. His presence as a run stopper is one of the reasons for the huge improvement over last year.
3. Everett. Moving him back to corner has been great for our pass defense.

To me Watts has been great but he needs to improve against the run. Several times yesterday he missed tackles on the Arkie running backs.

No it hasnt.

And I think MG by a mile. He effects nearly every play he's in.

Garrett imo. Dude forced a ton of throws and made clean tackles in the RBs for the most part. The fact that he's soaking up double teams lets others shine as well.

the Ags have a lot of guys on defense playing solid football. Not necessarily spectacular, but good football

Shaan Washington needs some love. Made some mistakes, but he's also made a big impact when he's been in!

Miles Garrett and Armani Watts. Watts missed a couple tackles yesterday, but based on his performance in our other four games, he's still one of our best.

Can't be Watts.

While he has made some really good, and even great, plays he has been caught peaking in the backfield a little too much and has been burned on some big plays.

I'm also of the opinion that it's Everett.

Garrett is a beast and has a great motor. Many times you see him way on the other side of the field or downfield trying to make a play. He reminds me a lot of Demontre in his last season. He hustles his ass off and plays with lots of heart.

Washington shows a lot of promise. I look forward to him seeing more action. He's a player

Garrett. They have to account for him every play. Great motor, plays hard, stays humble as other guys get tackles that are a direct result of double teams on him.

I'm so tired of hearing deshazor is not good in coverage. It's just wrong and stupid. He led the team in tackles with 16, and he's NOT one of the guys that got burned for a big one.

Figure it out, Deshazor is an amazing player.

I was a little disappointed in Mastro yesterday. I'm sure he got us in the right places each play but he seemed to whiff on a lot of tackles.

He had a huge pass break up in the 4th quarter I think so he made up for it.

Myles by miles is our best defensive player.

One pass break up doesn't make up for a whole game of suck. He may get everyone in position but that's about all he seems to do. The guy is constantly getting thrown to the side or whiffing on tackles.
