Howdy Ags and those alike!
Our t-shirts were made on a friends/family basis. The t-shirts are all spoken for, and not available nor will they be available to the general public at any time in the near future. Orbit Reform is also not a fashion label, but a community of people helping other people. We have helped numerous Aggies find their true potential and will continue to do so. We are supported by Aggie alumni, as well as hundreds of local residents who have lived by the Texas A&M tradition for decades.
The symbols on the t-shirt are not "gangster," nor "Mexican." The Phoenix symbol is an ancient symbol representing rebirth (ie. a new chapter, a new day, another chance to get it right, etc.). We strongly feel that this explanation coincides with the Aggie football program and the way it was resurrected by Kevin Sumlin. And because we are very aware that we can not afford a law suit, the SEC logo was changed to avoid infringement issues.
These t-shirts were made for local individuals who were raised with the 12th Man tradition in mind, and although we may not be official Aggie alumni, we are Aggies at heart. We have been a part of the Aggie tradition our whole lives--longer than some of you--and longer than most of the football team!
Once again, the t-shirts were released for friends/family only, and will NOT be available to the general public.
Nonetheless, we thank you kindly for all of your feedback, both positive and negative. This may be the only place we've seen negativity applied towards our design, but we expected that, along with the narrow-mindedness of calling letters and numbers "gangster" or "Mexican," and applying sexual innuendos to a t-shirt at first glance. Gothic lettering was created by the Anglo people in the middle ages, and the Phoenix symbol has been found in caves and ancient architecture over and over again.
