Just think if that was on the sidelines and an opposing receiver ran nearby
The first two weren't Collies, why should this one be? I've had a belly full of those damned bottle nosed freaks.Brian Earl Spilner said:

Yeah... And if we want to really get into branding I would much rather have Ol' Sarge back as our emblem.agnerd said:
Not this shi+ again...does anyone have a clue of how branding works?

Emblem and mascot do not have to be the same.
In fact I think Ol' Sarge walking a Blue Lacy or even Better Yet a Great Dane would be SO AWESOME!
Someone photoshop this please!?!?!?
I have 4. Regal. Intelligent. Loyal. Great breed to represent the Texas Aggies.Maroon Dawn said:
YTwo best options:
1) Blue Lacy - State Dog of Texas
2) German Shepherd - was the breed Rev was intended to be but didn't have the money back in the day. Homage to our history as both an agricultural school and our military history!
Also, to help with its exposure and suitability as a sports mascot as well as a university mascot...make it male.
Ever own one? I personally saw two grown men cower in a corner out of fear of my Dane.Lateralus Ag said:Tmoneyag99 said:Yeah... And if we want to really get into branding I would much rather have Ol' Sarge back as our emblem.agnerd said:

Great Dane's are worthless.
Indeed, what with tradition being so big at A&M, we should return to our mascot roots: a mutt that resembles the original Rev. Can be easily attained at the many animal shelters. Collies......arg.aeon-ag said:The first two weren't Collies, why should this one be? I've had a belly full of those damned bottle nosed freaks.Brian Earl Spilner said:

Blue Lacy for sure.
Bred to hunt hogs.
I love the Collie But the breed is just rife with genetic issues.
Vislas are for hunting lions.Hobbes01 said:We have the hawgs figured out. Which breed is trained to hunt elephants...and tigers?Tmoneyag99 said:

I think you're mixing them up with Rhodesian Ridgebacks which look similar but larger.Tmoneyag99 said:Vislas are for hunting lions.Hobbes01 said:We have the hawgs figured out. Which breed is trained to hunt elephants...and tigers?Tmoneyag99 said:

On topic, my vote is always for a mutt like the original.
