Just show up to your spot Saturday morning and kick out the morans that didn't know it was your spot.

The responses on here.. 12PM they sound the horn on Friday, first come first serve. Have your sprinting shoes on, as it is a mad dash for spots.

Spots are claimed (after an airhorn blows) at noon on Fridays. There will be a land rush with people running to their preferred spots.

Some will be camped on the sidewalk overnight, or for big games days ahead of time.

There is no charge, but there are time restrictions the university has in order, so it would be worth looking those up. Basically the only one that really matters is Houston Street is shut down 3.5 hours before game time, so bring your stuff out and be prepared for a clusterf*** of traffic.

I see you're part of the entitlement crowd. Hopefully that "moran", what ever that is, tells you tough chit, find an open spot.

A group of about 6 or 7 us will be coming in Saturday morning for the Ole Miss game. Is it feasible for us to find some room at Spence around 7 or 8am, even if it's on the other side of Spence closer to Throckmorton/Coke Street? If Spence is full, what other park area or field would y'all recommend where there will be lots of other tailgaters but some space for a tent or two and a pretty good-sized grill?

Yes. Plenty of space for more people. You just will not be on the road.

There's always room, but that game will be crowded so be prepared for that. Also check the game time, RE: street closure.
