Yea, screw the players. They get a free education. They should make them risk getting struck by lightning. I mean grow a pair!
quote:Well, there isn't. The policy implemented at Kyle Field was wrong. GBH posted the following from SC's website last week:quote:

I think your dripping sarcasm would be better received if there wasn't a policy disallowing the fans to leave and come back for their safety also... Better yet with stands towering above the playing surface the people in the nosebleeds would be struck, not the players.

In the event that inclement weather approaches Williams-Brice Stadium, public announcements will be
made to update fans on the situation. Should a lightning strike occur
within 8 miles of the stadium, play will be stopped immediately. Play
will resume thirty minutes after the last strike to occur within the
8-mile threat radius. Fans are encouraged to exit the venue and seek
shelter in their vehicles during weather delays. All ticket stubs should
be kept for re-entry into the stadium after the weather threat has
cleared. Updates may also be communicated via radio on 107.5 The Game,
Gamecocksonline.com, Twitter, and Facebook.

This policy is ridiculous. Its never been an issue before, now three straight weeks of delays. Has any other league been impacted like this?
