don't be confused. MTS is very reliable. this is the third year in a row that they've gotten these shoes for Aggies and I haven't seen a bad thing said about their service.

as far as price, AO's are pretty dang steep.

Foot Locker sells the Speed Trainers (except they don't carry them in maroon) for $74.99. MTS has them for $69.99.

Dick's has the Response Boosts in black for $99.99, MTS for $84.99.

even Adidas' own website is a couple bucks cheaper on the Speed Trainers and $20 cheaper on the Response Boosts than AO.

I've ordered, just hoping it all goes thru. And soon. The AO thread has me concerned a bit.

Out if the 4 shoes... My favorite is last years white shoe.... The one I dislike the most is this years maroon shoe. I wear a size 11 in them all, I prolly should have gotten a 11.5 but oh well. They all look real good as far as the maroon goes for those of y'all who are very picky. If anyone has any questions about them let me know.

Well as an update. I got a shipment confirmation from UPS today!

So the replay is as follows.

Ordered on Sunday.
Got an immediate order confirmation email.
Got a UPS tracking number and confirmation on Monday.
Suppose to arrive Thursday!

I don't think womens shoes will be available. My wife wears a 7 ladies shoe. I was told a mens 5.5 fits about the same. So she's going to try that size.

did anybody else not get a confirmation email right off the bat?

I placed the order last night around 10PM and banking on the confirmation email closed out of the internet without writing down my confirmation number but I haven't seen an email? For all I know I could have typed in my email incorrectly. Just wanted to see if anybody else had a delay before I call and try to follow up/confirm my order with them.

The molecular structure of those shoes look to be solid!

Is ordering adidas pretty comparable to Nikes?
I have a pair of Nike Free (size 9),
and a pair of Nike Pegasus (size 9 1/2).

Looks like the maroon adidas are similar to Nike Free?
Safe to order size 9?

Just put mine on. Do yourself a favor and order some now. I didn't have huge expectations on feel, but these feel great. And look better. I'd say they run a half size snug. I'm a 12+ and ordered 12.5 but could have gone 13.

To be fair, I'm an Adidas fan.

AO (Dallas) was quite unprofessional on the other thread suggesting that these wouldn't be in stock or that MTS and others were misleading us. As best I can tell AO is the one with bad business practices here. Gouging fellow Ags...not cool!!!

I agree. My 9 1/2 may be a tad small, but we'll see. And I have been assured that I can return for a different size if needed.

GREAT customer service. And delivery within a week.

mine came today too! absolutely love them. the Response Boost are SUPER light.

i got a half size bigger than i get in other brands and the whites fit perfectly, while the maroons were just a tad big. but half a size smaller likely would have been too small.

I was just responding to the thread that was deleted, so I don't remember what it said exactly now, but it was something to the effect of "we are gauging response and will place an order" sort of thing if there was interest.

All I knew was our adidas rep told us that we couldn't order more. Believe me, we've asked about it again now, because we apparently got incorrect information.

I was never trying to be misleading, and I'm glad you were able to get the shoes!

Boost. I think they look slightly better and likely more comftorable.
