I'm a grad student who did my undergrad at another school. I have asked several students on several occasions if it's ok for me to whoop, or if I should do the fish wildcat. The response is always the same: "No one cares, do the senior wildcat."

So at the games I just do the senior wildcat so I don't look like a ****** doing nothing.

I've been raised an Aggie fan all my life. I'm blessed to finally be here for grad school and I love it.

Just thought I'd share my perspective.

I did my undergrad at cougar high and did my graduate work at Texas A&M. While I was there I always did the senior wildcat and always will. This is nothing more than a bunch pompous grad student wanting to feel special and make sure that everyone recognizes them as being above everyone else. Thanks and Gig Em.

I think grad students are people too.

Look, I don't wildcat, never really got into it beyond fish camp. Lots of grad students are much more into tradition than I am. I think they deserve a wildcate etc. I actually am very proud when I meet someone who received their ring as a graduate student, especially if they are foreign and came to the U.S. to become an aggie.

This particular argument about class priviledges has gone on every since females and non-regs first started taking classes. You cannot grant or withhold proviledges without consequences. Non-regs and women most certainly have the right to attend and participate in the trafitions. However, it makes no sense for them to tell anyone else what and how they should participate. The enforcement of class privileges is best left among CTs.

How dumb. But while we're adding wildcats, can we add one for Ol Army? How about a non-reg version that isn't based on military tradition? And what about the lady Ags, shouldn't they have their own since all these wildcats were created before they were on campus!??

Open for discussion, please share your ideas on what the wildcat should be for these groups: Ol Army, Non-Regs, and Lady Ags.

This is creating an argument out of a non issue.

Apparently the voting is open. You would think only graduate students would be able to vote. Or at the very least, current students.

It's kind of like "Sit Down, Bus Driver!", except just "Sit Down!!!".

As a grad student, I was strongly against the grad wildcat; but if it is just formalizing that grad students should whoop up (as in the first video), I'm okay with that.
