Exactly! I guess some people plan on hanging out in an empty stadium and acting like they could have made a more beautiful empty stadium.

Can you imagine, three, 3 and outs in a row for the D. The place is rocking and some dbag behind you says, look at the corner over there. it looks...

A more likely complaint will be how quite the west side is on 3rd and 3 as Mack digs his knuckles into the ground.

Say what you will about the lack of symmetry or cohesion inside, but Populous and the engineering consultants should be embarrassed.

This is an awful, sloppy detail that looks like it came from a TxDOT highway interchange. I hope there's a metal cap that will go around the top of that post to conceal the pipe connection.

I will admit that I love almost everything about the new stadium (except the exposed SEZ), and my first reaction to seeing this closeup picture was an eye roll. Then I looked at the larger view expecting the pipe to be so small that I couldn't even notice. **** me! It's all I see now when I look at the west facade. It's pretty bad when even Fitch cannot explain or defend it.

Make sure they spray it with some of that color matched Flex Seal so it doesn't leak. Stuff looks great on TV.

I actually do construction coordination for a living, and if that's your only *****, Populous and the everyone else involved did a pretty damn decent job. Getting everything in a building to fit just right and not cost a few extra million is not exactly easy, especially on a job like this.
