It may be closer than that even.

That gif uses the field from 2014 and the wall on the west side that was about where the new wall will be for accuracy. There was another pic/gif out there that made the field appear larger than it actually is, which in turn made the stands appear even closer.

Irrigation pipe? Yes or no?

Never saw a clear statement about whether or not the drainage infrastructure had to be replaced. Even if so, this looks like the textbook size trench and trencher used for irrigation....in my opinion that is. If not, what is it?

I wonder if Leo is ready to crack skulls to get his field back.

Last year's irrigation and drainage setup was strictly temporary.

It is (directly) none of my business, but the seats in the stands look like they're made of aluminum -- or something -- instead of dependable, durable and attractive pig iron.

A further casual perusal of the stadium pictures indicates a number of opportunities for the always appropriate employment of concrete have been inexplicably wasted.

In point of actual fact, a study of the Roman Coliseum in the first instance would have made apparent the superfluous nature of all "improvements" except something to sit on and someplace to take a number two.

I have also been curious about the TV camera placement. Imho I've always thought we had one of the worst views from the TV audience perspective because it looked like it was being shot from an airplane. The lighting was even worse years ago. It doesn't bother me since I'm at all home games, but I like to have a good viewing angle when I'm watching the recordings of us kicking tail
seriously though, was ESPN or others brought in to look at this and find optimal placement (not in fans way)for a camera? I wonder if there will be enough room for the truck mounted ones with the stands being closer. Just curious

The middle windows just below the center of the third deck. Three center suites for media and the outer windows will be coaches boxes IIRC.
