How do y'all know he hasn't had family problems or got a internship out of town after having to sign up for a sports pass? He may not be in town anymore to make the whole season so what's wrong with selling it??
So listing it for $900 is ok?

Also if they sell them it HAS to go to another student. If it doesn't then the buyer HAS to purchase a guest label which brings the ticket back up to the unsubsidized full price to the university. No problem here

***IMPORTANT**** Resale of student tickets/sports options for profit is prohibited. Student sports options are heavily subsidized by season ticket holders. Former Students and Aggie fans have long been committed to maintaining the quality and size of the student allotment at Kyle Field. In return, Texas A&M students, the 12th Man, are expected to honor this commitment by not reselling for profit their student tickets. These tickets, home and away, are for student use ONLY. Texas A&M students are prohibited from reselling sports options/student tickets (home or road) for profit. Students found to be in violation of this policy will be penalized. Penalties include the cancellation of sports options, cancellation of tickets already pulled, and the loss of sports option privileges for the duration of their Texas A&M career.

Seriously, since when has there ever been an issue with a student getting a sports pass and football tickets? Is that actually a problem this year? If it is not an issue, all arguments are invalid and you can do whatever you want. It's supply and demand.
