Granted, it has a few other O'Brien autographs on it, like Danny Wuerfels, but I am really coveting this item.

Knowing it is likely from a teammate or his parents, not that much.

The Manziel/Crow signed helmet went for something like 17,500 at Houston's coaches night.

0. I don't understand why people pay for athletes signatures.

When you really sit back and think about it, paying anything for another human's signature is ridiculous.

Kind of weird to think about how the whole autograph craze got started. Begging a popular person to write there name on a price of paper so you can save it in a safe place.

Went for $18,500 at Coach's Night. Also had John David's autograph on it.

Would pay $500 tops. There will be a ton of helmets signed by him on the market in 10 years, and this would be the average market price. Unless there was some special memory I get out of the experience of buying it, I wouldn't pay more than that.

The John David Crow one is extremely unique. If you got the money to spend, and you are keeping it for yourself, then I don't think there is a right number. That would be a hell of a cool thing to own.

I would give 25 cents. They would have to deliver because I wouldn't pay the postage.
