Who wants (and can afford) Club seats in the redeveloped new Kyle Field, but knows they will be too low on the list to get them? I remember a few threads several weeks ago about having too few Priority Points to get into the locations people wanted...

Was it just complaining, or are there users that can afford premium club seats in the West side or Zone Club, but just don't rank high enough to get them? I can't remember if the lamenting was about not being able to get premium seats, having to move from existing seats, or having to pay more for similar seats...

To answer your question club seats were not complained about significantly except that

The whole second deck was becoming expensive club seats that some Ags wish they had a way to

Stay in the 2nd deck at non-club prices

Ok, couldn't remember exactly. I thought a few people on here really wanted to buy prime seating, but just ranked too low on the Priority Points list to get what they wanted...

Yeah, that's kinda what I wondered... And the current 2nd deck holds about 8K+ on benches, but the new Club 2nd deck is only 3500 chair backs. That's 4500 people moving somewhere... Either over to the current Zone Club, up to the new 3rd deck middle, or corners of first deck most likely...

If you can afford club seats, you can afford to buy points to get the club seats

Maybe club seats outside the 30's I think the Club seats inside 30's will sell well

I have seen several worried about keeping their Zone Club location. Maybe that is where some of the current 2nd deckers will go. But I would think those that have been in the ZC would have plenty of points since they have been paying the large donations every year...

It will take at least 3000 points to get any club I think. Lots of people with. 2000 have ZC now. To get to 3000 would take a $25,000 lump sum donation.

TMF greatly underestimated demand for that product.

Not building club seats in the south endzone, in the quest to get over 100,000 seats, was a mistake.

I imagine some in the Zone Club will probably move over to the new West Side Club, opening up some spots in the ZC.

Any estimates on the number of points needed to get to the West Club? Zone Club?
91poohah
How long do you want to ignore this user?
Estimates? I heard they expect the prime legacy club areas of the 2nd deck full in the first 4-5 days. And was told the west 1st deck premium location will be gone in the top 350-400 donors as well...

Poohah do you have total for # of seats in 1st west Deck between the 30's?

I think those seats will go very fast but unless the top 500,
are loading up in multiple sections that seems very fast for all those seats to be gone

I'm going for the best 2 seats in the stadium, but only 450ish points will limit my options. I was hoping that the BMAs spent all of their money in the 100+ suites. I assume the section capacity will be updated as people start signing up in August, so we shall see in a few weeks.

I hope I have enuf points to get low in the south end zone upper deck.

I'm in that situation. I'd like to have and can afford seats in the Club section, but I know that I won't even have a shot since I have just under 1,000 pp.

Most folks will be lucky to have good seats, at least close to what they have now. You must spend $25 for 1 priority point. Start doing that math.

I was on staff years ago and really don't care where I land as long as I can get into the stadium.

SQ 17- good question on the numbers of seats in each area, but I don't know. The seat numbers are not exact at this time because construction changes and alignment could cause changes. But I would think they have a rough estimate, and could release that info. It would be nice to know an approximate number of seats in each category or area...

Likewise, with only a week before the August 1 Priority Point deadline, I would really hope they get some additional renderings released. They have a great West sideview comparison of current Kyle and new Kyle, and it helps seeing where each level sits compared to what we currently have. And some drawings would really help easy some minds (or cause some panic?) in relation to canopies, suites, entrances, overhangs, viewing angles, and everything else that goes into selecting where someone wants to sit..

I'm not estimating the same demand that a lot of you are. How many people currently donate $2000 per seat? Maybe a lot of folks who have been donating $750/seat will want to almost triple their donation, but my guess is no.

Forecasting demand is a complete crapshoot. I know a guy whose giving in that vicinity for his tickets right now, but is legitimately concerned about being able to get the same seats in the reshuffle since he doesn't have a huge number of priority points (has only had those seats a few years), and will be selecting behind about 3000 other folks. The thing we don't know is how many seats folks are going to buy. Will people that have multiple groups of season tickets at different price levels (I sit next to one of these guys right now) try to consolidate all their tickets in one level, and if so, will they opt for the highest level, or will they continue to buy tickets are more than one price level? How many folks in second deck will opt not to pay for the more expensive club seats and move to the best non-club level? How many people who have wanted more seats will actually pony up to buy more? How many folks will opt to scale back rather than pay higher prices (where that applies)?

Just too many variables for us to guess, and I'm not sure the TMF really has a good idea, either.

How many are going to finally be able to pick and discover their old seats or seats close by are already taken and will get pissed off and not renew?!
GigEm81
How long do you want to ignore this user?
I also question the appetite for these prices. My guess is you will have seats going begging but who knows?

Regardless of where your seats are now, I think you are just looking for best seats in stadium you can afford or that seem reasonable.

As an out of state season ticket holder, it is a tough nut for me.

I agree with TWK that the estimates are just that- ESTIMATES... I don't think they have any idea what will get selected, or how many, or how fast. But the approach is to talk it up, create demand, get a frenzy going, and convince everyone that they need to get in quick and get all they will ever need.

My thinking has been that some higher ranking donors will skip over better seats for more affordable sections. That will allow some lower ranking donors the opportunity to step up and buy better locations. If this type distribution happens, it sounds like a win-win. The higher ranking people stepped down and took what they wanted, and newer donors with the means were able to buy good seats...

Today you can sit in the second deck for $600. Where is this long list of people wanting to pay $2000 plus a year for each seat plus the cost of tickets and campaign contribution? My guess, if you are willing to pay the dollars then you can get a seat.

We have had seats on second deck for over 10 yrs. (my husband would know exactly). We have the points to renew theses seats but we are not going to spend that kind of money they want for these seats! We will be seating on third deck or end zone. We have kids that want to go to college not just the football games!

True enough, but it's also true that the Zone Club has been sold out for a while now, so there is more demand for that seating than we've been able to meet, even with endzone seats. A $600 2nd deck ticket as currently configured isn't anywhere near the same product as the club seat that will take its place.
