As shocking as it may seem, baseball was Johnny Manziel's first love.

But football was always his destiny.

But despite his pigskin prowess, it wasn't that long ago that our beloved JFF was just Johnny Manziel: a record-setting but under appreciated talent at Kerrville Tivy.

In fact, some programs didn't even think he could be a college quarterback.

So that's how it came to pass that after initially committing to Oregon, Johnny signed with the good guys in 2011.

But even once he was on campus, perhaps only Johnny knew what he was truly capable of.

2012 didn't look too good for Johnny when this happened over the summer.

Heck, just a couple weeks before the season started, we all expected to see this guy under center.

But Manziel, now affectionately named "Johnny Football," earned the starting job. And against Florida, he gave us hope.

He wowed us against SMU.

He ran circles around Arkansas (literally).

Against Ole Miss, he made us believe.

He gave us a night to remember against La Tech.

He may MSU look like mere mortals

And he gave us a Heisman moment as we took down #1 Bama.

Oh, poor Mizzou.

In 2012, he tried a PAT...

...he flew...

...he grew a stache...

...he was immortalized in a haircut...

...he played dress up...

Oh yeah, and this happened.

Since then, he's become somewhat of a celebrity...

But it didn't seem to affect him too much on the field

So here's to Johnny Football. A true renaissance man. He can hit crazy basketball shots.

Gets fake tattoos

He throws out first pitches (kinda)

And he makes the ladies swoon

But apparently he can't block

Nonetheless, this is truly the high point in his career to date

So here's to Johnny. You've done so much for us, there's only one thing we can say in return.
