We went to visit my sister in law in rehab for her massive drug addiction.

A guy sees my wife's ring and asks if she's an Aggie. She says, "absolutely. Class of 2008" he responds by saying, "oh. I'm sorry" and puts his guns up. (He was in rehab for booze)
The irony of the situation was too much. I wanted to spout off, but I decide to take the high road

I was in line to checkout at the grocery store, the fella ahead of me was an Ag as well, so we start discussing the upcoming season. The checker over hears us and says, "I'm a longhorn." We say, "Neat," and continue our discussion. Then he says, "You Aggies make my orange blood boil!" (Who talks like that? I wish I could claim this next line for myself.) The other Ag says, "Let me get this straight. The longhorn is ringing up the groceries for the two Aggies? That sounds about right." Good stuff.

The pubes were great! And yes I am trash. Thank you for pointing that out. I just hope that one day I can even begin to aspire to your all encompassing, awe inspiring greatness.

Living here in Louisiana, every time someone finds out I am an aggie they say "sorry to hear that" as well and then they usually tell some played out aggie joke. Because most of them are LSU and longhorn fans around here. Funny thing is about 99% of the people who talk crap did not attend any school at all. I take the high road as well and just nod and give an awkward laugh and go about my business.

Something similar happened to me but there was more sex involved

OP should be charitable and tell her to fake an injury so she can start collecting disability like so many million other 'hard-working' Americans.

Between disability, food stamps, and housing vouchers, that hoarn would have a much higher standard of living than what can be purchased on the Drive-Thru salary.

My dad used to have bunches of those books lying around his office from folks who bought them for him as a gag gift over the years.
