for what its worth, Texas law only requires you to slow down 20 mph below the speed limit or move one lane away from the emergency vehicle. Sounds like he might have moved one lane over and never hit the breaks, which would be legal.

No part of what this brain surgeon is within the state law. If he went through a cross walk to avoid hitting the cop car, that was probably parked, and drove through the cross walk where kids were walking, ummm no that is completely against state law bud.

He coaches my little brother. When he was getting arrested my little bro snapped a pic and sent it to me. I wasn't sure if Aggie football related so I just kinda laughed it off instead of posting.

I grew up down that way. The Orange Grove police were notorious for pulling people over for anything. Don't speed a mile an hour over the limit in that town.

Orange grove cops do suck. And I doubt there will be an opening at his coaching position. His dad is the AD. The team went from a 2 win season to 3 rounds into playoffs in his first year. The kids all like him, except one fat one who didn't try hard and had his mom complain to a local paper because he wasn't getting playing time.

Lives out in Sandia in a gated subdivision by the lake. I'd guess hangs out at stripes more, dq isn't open at hours when "da cool kids be chillin"

i am the general contractor that built the primary school and did all of the last school additions in 2008 in Orange Grove.

Word around the town is it's made out to sound alot worse than it really was. They said he was maybe doing 45mph max.

If it were a more serious offense, I definitely agree.
