You are a disgrace to the university. Doing yells that include the phrase "suck our d*cks" while attempting to draw attention to yourselves is distasteful and embarrassing.

It's most certainly not fish camp, its a Bonfire grode yell done by a crew so of course its crude.

Get over it.

5 min before that we say BEAT THE HELL OUTTA lsu 5 times, many visitors consider that crude but no one gives a ****. Don't be selective with your criticism

Secondly, every bonfire crew has done their grode yell at the end of Midnight Yell for at least the 6 years i've been here (undergrad and grad) so the fact that you're just now hearing one of these yells is mindblowing to me.

Who cares. We're in the SEC. We can (and should) be as ridiculously loud, crude, obnoxious, unwelcoming, and intimidating as possible toward all opponent fan bases.

I hate all this "we have to be nice and classy" crap. Kyle Field needs to be a feared place. Good for those fish camp people, even if fish camp is gay as s***.

I wasn't sure the timetable for student cut. I'm a supporter by the way - think its good bull.

That said, tonight's Yell is no ordinary one and its easy to see why folks would have a problem with self/serving grodes after.

Like I said you obviously haven't heard any of the other crew grode yells like Walton or Hart, now those would really set you off.

But no please fish camp they can't even get our own yells right how do you expect them to create their own(crude or not)?

Grodes never made Kyle Field a feared place. A fired up student population that built itself around a COMMON theme instead of many separate

lol @ people who think this is some sort of new phenomenon

the hart super grode was invented in 92 (iirc). plenty of other dorm's grode yells pre-date that by a long time.

Seriously OP, It's a Midnight Yell where we CONSTANTLY INSULT THE OPPOSING TEAM. We repeatedly in various ways called them a bunch of DUMB HILLYBILLY REDNECKS who can't play offense.

If you're concerned about people getting offended perhaps you should just skip midnight yell.

Grode yells have a time and a place and it's not at Midnight Yell. We never ran them at yell practice when I was at Hart. I sure hope my old crew hasn't started doing that crap.

The real mischief should be happening before and after yell.

What good do dorm grode yells do? They are classless and unnecessary in my opinion. If anything, they are isolating themselves and reducing the number of students that will want to participate in bonfire. They are embarrassing themselves and the university.
