I for one am overly excited about the potential we have for next year. 8 out of our first 10 are at home, and we don't play our first road game until the 5th game of the season. In that game we will face an Arkansas team that obviously has some major issues and a team that we should have confidence against. Ole Miss on the road the following week.. we've proven we can win there and even tho I think they will be a solid team next year its definitely a winnable game.

Unless Auburn and Vandy drastically improve those are both good chances at more wins at home. Not sure what Miss St will look like, but with the Kyle Field atmosphere I always like our chances..

Closing the season with LSU and Mizzou on the road.. LSU in Baton Rouge is obviously gonna be a HUGE test and I wouldn't feel bad if we lost that game. Beating mizzou at their place isn't a lock so we shall season how those last 2 games turn out...

9-3 or better looks like a real possibility

Plus I wanna see the grove without the rain. Kinda stoked to go back to Oxford.

I don't think I would describe any SEC schedule as "easy".. more like favorable.

Not having to play Florida, Georgia, and South Carolina really helps..

EDIT: And lets be honest... we will have the entire fall camp to prepare for Alabama. SHSU and Rice are pushovers. Alabama will clearly be the focus

All in all, pretty good. We got Vandy and Mizzou from the East. Happy to see LSU get Florida and Georgia as their Eastern teams. The Ole Miss game is not a huge shock, since we had two Eastern teams at home this year, so something had to give.

As an FYI, the sips home schedule is New Mexico State, Ole Miss, Kansas, K State, OSU and Tech. "Call your cable provider now!"

Yes, it has been stated many times that construction will NOT begin until AFTER the 2013 season.

Because this year and next years schedule are transition schedules.. I mean look at Mizzou, they will make their 3rd straight trip here in consecutive years.. Plus lets not complain, Oxford is a nice place to visit/play.. could be a lot worse. For players AND fans.

Love the schedule .... 8 home games ... a bit of old SWC for us old foggies (SMU, Rice, Arkansas ... and welcome back Bob Davie when New Mexico comes to town) .... and some good ol SEC fun with Bama early and First visits by Auburn, Miss St., and Vandy. Good times for bye weeks .... let the season build up to LSU late in the year. Good potential for a really nice season.

Great schedule!! 8 Home games, 4 away games. Fairly easy compared to Ark, LSU, and Auburn.

Thats a 10-2 season.

I was very surprised to see so many Aggies attending the Ole Miss game this year. So if its there again, I wont be surprised to see even more AGGIES... lets make it a home game there!!!
