Have known since the S E C move that it would be VEEEEERY easy to redirect my hate from Horns to swamp kitties.

I've hated horns with a deep seated visceral hate since the mid 60s. But even through the hate, I would always begrudingly admit that at least some horns were reasonable intelligent and one-on-one, can be nice folks.

Swamp kitties, not likely to find either of those redeeming factors.

Oh well, Ags will do what we always do, treat our visitors with respect. Just wouldn't be right to be nasty to our mentally deficient, web-footed neighbors from the swamp.

When we played them regularly when I was in school in the late 80's they were the only fans that caused fights. Had a friend come out of Tiger stadium to a smashed windshield after we whooped them. Will never forget having 2nd deck, 1st row seats right above their section when they outscored us in Kyle, grown men pulling down their pants to reveal purple boxers & flipping off the student section. It will take all the Aggie pride you have to maintain your composure this weekend.

One guy makes a simple statement like "A&M is ghey," and the next guy puts like 40 of those laughing/leg kicking things. I don't get those fools.

Went to several games at BR and to say that the kitties are the most obnoxious, classless, drunks fan base in college football is an understatement!!

There is absolutely no comparison between the 2 States! Louisiana is a 3rd world masquerading as one of the 50 States in our nation!! For the record I grew up in California so no a native Texan!

I hope we beat the ever living out of those swamp kitties like we used back when I was at A&M!!

Their constant fixation on the male anatomy and incessant use of derogatory homosexual slurs over there has me thinking that things must be getting pretty boring in the brokeback bayou.

A funny encounter I had last month with an LSU fan:

At a sports bar on a cruise, watching college football. He is hammered, because he is watching LSU, and sees that I and about 6 others went to A&M. He starts yelling about how ghey our school is and how stupid we are...you know, expected trash talk from a swamp boy. But then he starts going into ridiculous detail about our traditions...much more than any non-Aggie generally knows. He's now attracted a lot of attention around the bar, and won't shut up, until finally, with everyone listening, his friend walks in and without knowing what's going on reveals that this guy made it an entire semester at A&M before failing out and ending up at LSU. Game, set, match. It was great.

Just to bring a slight bit of sensibility here, since we got onto atmosphere talk...

I went to the LSU/WVU game two years back when both teams were ranked. A night game in Death Valley was an awesome sight to behold. We saw a good amount of fights and quite a few of arrests, but in fairness that may have been attributable to the WVU fans in attendance.

All in all, I look forward to going back. Generally, the stadium was legit, the atmosphere was legit, and the (majority) of fans were legit. Crazy passionate, but not necessarily over the top.

Internet fans are a different breed. The thread on TD is fun for a laugh but not much more. I won't generalize their entire fanbase based on the cyber-tough-guy routine from a group of homophobic illogical and downright ignorant anonymous individuals.

Now...proceed with the blind hatred.

Dudes, I grew up in CS and have met lotsa CAs (I usually don't like to use the word c***ass because people here in L.A. don't get it and think it's derogatory.) Great, freakin' people. Can LSU fans/current students be so obnoxious at games that they're an embarrassment to themselves? Yes. Do they seem to have the worst rep in the SEC, like Tech in the Big 12? Yes. But 1) not all their fans act like that, 2) we have our jerks, too and 3) LA is a great state that I believe to be the most culturally unique in the 48 contiguous. It's only a matter of time till we're regularly kicking their ass like before, but that time is not now. Their program is up and our program is trying to rise to their level, then higher. This is gonna be a great freakin' game, the first of many, and we have a chance to show these folks Texas Hospitality. Gig 'Em, and BTHO LSU.

I went to the 1990 game in BR when the Ags played there.......did not meet one good fan before, during or after. What I did get, was lots and lots of cussing, small whiskey bottles thrown at us,etc...........

Having said that, the tailgate was great( if you ignored all the comments yelled at us) atmosphere inside was pretty cool (if you are an LSU fan, otherwise you are dodging whiskey bottles, water cups thrown at you,etc....)

To say I don't think very highly of them but enjoy the rivalry is and understatement.

The second time in 1992 was worse because we beat them.

Louisiana is the literal and figurative anus of this country.

Is that enough hate? because I have plenty more.
