high ticket prices are whats causing low attendance. sure you have your occasional 2% which will jump on the wagon when we win, many Ags would be perfectly fine taking their entire family to games if the price of tickets were reasonable. at $100 a pop and the cost of hotels in the region many have no choice but to stay home and view it on their big screens.
People by giant TV's with HD and 3d effects in an attempt to simulate reality, ask any Aggie within 500 miles of college station if they would buy tix to LSwho, Bama, Florida and the likes of the SEC for say $50 and you would see caravans of aggies headed to college station. Many would see and SEC schedule well worth the travel understanding that the SMU's and SCST of the world will also venture into KYLE Field in an attempt for an upset. at least thats my O...
