We have one of the most insecure fanbases on earth. Jeez, lighten up, Francis.

If you compare the Statesman with other city writeups concerning the Ag's (SA, Dallas, Houston), they are the more informational, less condescending, and least biased. The most biased against us is the DMN with SA close behind. Being in SA, I know for I cancelled my regular subscription due to their orange slant, antiAggie writeups.

A typical yellow journalist. Seems she leaves out a big truth! Texas A&M had to fill their schedule out with these type teams because other schools cancelled their games with Texas A&M or, as in the case with tu, some schools refuse to play Texas A&M because they have a loser peeniss head for an athletic supporter...uh I mean Athletic Deeckrector

Rjamizon ... There are no moronic questions, only moronic people who ask questions!

There are two facts here, and they don't contradict each other.

1) Suzanne Halliburton is a crappy sports writer and a hilariously bad interviewer.

2) The article was not biased and she didn't take any shots at us. It wasn't inspiring journalism either, just dull, like the game.

She went out of her way to talk about the OU thrashing and how we beat up on an ffs opponent but never offered a reason as to why A&M had to schedule scsu.

Regarding tho 77-0 reference....exactly. I didn't expect her to explain why we were playing SCSU though. That would have been making a case FOR us and I don't expect her to do that. Although everything in the article was true, I read the print version and very much got the impression that she was trying to go for a no credit to the Ags approach. Do I care? No. as a fan used to disappointment I'm taking a cautious approach myself. But I'm not sure I would ever see that writing style applied to many other teams than us. I don't expect the AAS to be unbiased when it comes to us. It is what it is.

This is the same writer that used her Heisman vote on Colt McCoy. No problem with that. EXCEPT, she went on the record that her tiebreaker was "career achievement".

Good lord some of you are such sensitive babies. She mentioned the OU game b/c it was the last time ( maybe even the only?) we played in a game with a running clock due to it being a blowout. After so many here were surprised the clock wasn't stopping its pertinent information for the article.

Man, the sense of victimization is strong! Not sure if it's legit sometimes or not, but good thing we got out of the B12 because some on here might've ended up in a padded cell listening to elevator music all day long.
