Best "celebration" I ever saw was when Tim Brown, the great Heisman receiver/returner from ND ran back a kickoff. When he crossed the goal line he just kind of dropped the ball off behind him with with a flick of the wrist without looking at it and literally walked off the field. It was the greatest "yeah, I've done this a hundred times before" display ever.

That's what I would love to see out of VM.

Let's remove all forms of celebrations from sports! While we are at it, let's remove all forms of signatures on TexAgs!

Von is every bit as dominating and classy as Earl Campbell. I would rather see him emulate his finishes than do an Icky Shuffle.

I'm not a big fan of huge celebrations by players, but in instances like this I'm okay with it. He'd just sacked Big Ben twice in a row, forcing the Steelers to a very long and desperate fourth down that meant game over.

Holy crap! I agree with Slim!

I've always loved the way Earl Campbell "celebrated" by handing the ball to the official.

Good grief, Slim. I'm usually on your side more often than not, but I can't go with you on this one at all. Von calling attention to himself is calling attention to A&M. POSITIVE attention. Dude backs up his play with results, and at the end of the day, is just having a ball out there. Isn't that what this game is about at the end of the day? Having fun? Von is loving life and representing A&M extremely well. Get over yourself and your holier than thou attitude toward his celebrations of good plays.

Is wildcatting considered excessive celebration Slim?

PHS was just giving his opinion about celebration dances.

TexAgs has gotten to the point that any difference of opinion is greeted with violent overreaction.

And I happen to agree with PHS on this one, so flame away.

I see no problem with a player celebrating like this.

It only gets a eye roll when that players team is losing badly.

Go throw your wet blanket on another thread, PHS, Von doing Billie "White Shoes" Johnson was the TITS!
